Arnsparger Pickups

Guitar Repair and Maintenance

personal

Arnsparger Pickups is now offering set ups and repair service for your stringed instruments.

Being a luthier for over 27 years you will find that this is really not a new venture. I have worked for a prominent guitar shop/guitar builder in central Ohio for over 11 years as well as doing repairs as an independent luthier 14 years prior to that.

Having been a part of working on approximately 2000 instruments a year, you can rest assured that whether you are shipping your instrument or stopping by, you are leaving your instrument in good hands, you don't get that kind of work doing shoddy service. Whether it is an acoustic guitar, an electric guitar, bass guitar, mandolin, ukulele or most anything with frets the work needed can be performed here.

From routine service to major repairs, the job can be done. Check the price list below to see the services offered and prices.

Feel free to contact me either by email at bill@arnspargerpickups.comor by phone at 614-353-2693 with either a call or text msg. If no answer by phone be sure to leave a message and I will get back to you as soon as I can. All local drop off and pickups are done by appointment. So feel free to call and set up a time.

JUST LIKE ANY OTHER PROFESSIONAL BE IT A DOCTOR, LAWYER, PLUMBER OR HEATING/COOLING TECHNICIAN IT TAKES YEARS TO MASTER THIS TRADE SO OUT OF ALL DUE RESPECT, THIS NEXT REQUEST IS ONE OF EXTENDING TO ME THE SAME COURTESY THAT YOU WOULD ANY OTHER PROFESSIONAL AS WELL AS WHAT YOU WOULD LIKE EXTENDED TO YOU YOURSELF.
MY REQUEST IS ONCE THE APPOINTMENT IS MADE THAT YOU PLEASE MAKE EVERY EFFORT TO BE ON TIME. JUST LIKE YOUR TIME MY TIME IS IMPORTANT AS WELL AS THE NEXT CUSTOMERS. I AM AWARE THAT SOMETIMES THINGS HAPPEN AND IF YOU'RE GOING TO BE LATE OR CANNOT MAKE IT AT ALL THAT YOU WOULD PLEASE CALL WITH ENOUGH OF AN ADVANCE NOTICE AS POSSIBLE. I WOULD REALLY HATE TO BECOME LIKE OTHER PROFESSIONALS AND START CHARGING AN APPOINTMENT FEE OR DROP YOU FROM MY CUSTOMER LIST FOR NOT SHOWING UP OR CONSTANTLY BEING LATE. MY WORK AND MY FEES ARE OF THE NATURE THAT YOU'LL BE DISAPPOINTED IF THIS SHOULD OCCUR. THANKS

Pic of a neck reset in progress. One thing I discovered was using rubber around the fingerboard helps to keep the steam below the board keeping the body from blemishing and aids in removal of the neck.

Here's an after picture of a crack repair that I performed. The crack was between the bridge pins. I didn't think of doing a before pic until after it was finished, sorry.

If no work is going to be performed on the instrument a $25.00 estimate fee will be assessed.

All prices are subject to change without notice due to some instruments being out of character to the norm or prices newly updated. But as of 2/27/16 these prices are current.
